Jeremy, please continue advocating for a new active policy development process within the LPC.

The Party needs to engage members in a more meaningful way than it currently does.
Liberals need to expand and enhance communication between Party and members, between members, between riding associations.
The Party needs to develop means to create a stronger sense of belonging among members.
Only then will the LPC be more successful under the new fundraising regulations and have more active volunteers.

I don't know if you saw it – but I drafted a similar memo prior to the renewal committee being struck. It discussed the notion of greenhousing a Liberal Lab, an online policy development platform inspired by the Wikipedia and Web 2.0 practices writ large.

It was put under the noses of a few people who expressed interest but the notion was quickly buried after the committee with Tom Axworthy was announced.

Perhaps now it's time to unearth it and see where it can go?
