Bush-Cheney and the Global Puke

Andrew Sullivan pretty much sums up what were all feeling about Bush, Cheney, the election and our collective hopes for America if Obama wins:

The more I think about it the more this election day feels like one giant collective, global puke. That Bush-Cheney thing never quite settled with us, did it? We’ll feel a lot better but a lot more tired once the last heave is over.

Genius.

Unfortunately I think it will still be close. And therefore it is likely to NOT mark the watershed the way many predict an Obama victory should do. Polls show McCain is catching up to Obama these last few days with his Lee Atwater inspired fear campaigns. I am afraid that a close election will show instead exactly how deep seated the class/race/red/ble divisions in America are.Sorry to be a bummer : )Still, when a stone mason was asked what he was building as he toiled one brick at a time, he responded, “A cathedral”.
