Via Saskboy, here is a great tribute to Franken’s comedic and political genius and a fantastic reminder about why we should be happy about yesterday’s result.

I like Franken and enjoyed his book; but was disappointed over his initial support of the Iraq fiasco; I thought he had put this kind of botch up behind him but his recent participation in a pro-Israel rally is extremely unhelpful to current events in Gaza imo and lead to me to question his capability on foreign policy issues at least. The one bit I didn't like in his book, is his weakneed and almost cringing appraoch to religious fundamentalists (the Christian ones), elected represenatives who stand for secular politics need to show considerable more backbone when it comes to taking these guys on; instead of just demonising non-Christian religious extremists.
