I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time and I’ve decided to not blog anymore. The reasons are numerous. Part of it is how much time it consumes, I spend at least 7 hours a week on the blog and the demands have become too great. But the more exciting reason is that I’ve accepted a job as an columnist at the Vancouver Courier. There I will be writing about the intersection between open source, politics, and policy for my neighbours in Kerrisdale – a beautiful suburb of Vancouver with a large retirement community.
It’s been fun and thanks for reading!

Ah Kerrisdale … where I grew up and can no longer afford to live. Well done! Do you think perhaps this will be a trend … bloggers deciding that they've blogged enough?
Maybe declare your underlying support for Closed Government & Closed Data and the offer to work for the RAND corporation?
Finally! I think it's so much easier to only publish in print – filters out the stupid ideas from the unwashed masses coming back to you.
I just could tell you were going to burn out sooner rather than later, it must've been that long post on 3 case studies on Open Data that was the final straw! Can I have your domain? :)
Wait… what is the date?:)
Hilarious.

The date could be a coincidence, but if this was real, methinks you would be more wordy. Better be a joke anyway or there will be no end of conspiracy theories and WTFs.
